Clinical Virology Unit

The Clinical Virology Unit is a part of the Department of clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases. The unit offers a wide range of viral tests using multiple methods. Some of them include HIV, EBV, CMV, Enteroviruses, Rotavirus, HSV. Test are performed using various tissues, serum, plasma, amniotic fluid, stool etc. the unit works routinely with companies interested to test for human-derived materials for hepatic viruses.
