Experimental Neurology Laboratory

The Laboratory contains service laboratories for advanced diagnostics in neurological diseases that serves as a national diagnostic laboratory for most neuroimmunological, neurogenetic, paraneoplastic and neuromuscular diseases. The is contains a full histopathological set-up, stereotactic devices for rodents and other animals, clinical and genetic diagnostics, neurological studies, experimental surgery and stem cell studies, and animal models for Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s, prion diseases, eurodegenerative diseases, ALS and stroke, counseling in all the research areas described above and consultations for research on human subjects.
