Tamar Raz, PhD
CEO
Dr. Tamar Raz has nearly two decades of experience in technology transfer and an impressive track record of bringing medical innovations from the lab to the marketplace. Prior to joining Hadasit, she served as VP of Marketing and Strategy at Ramot, the technology transfer company of Tel Aviv University. Tamar was the founder and CEO of Allergene Ltd, an Israeli drug development start-up company. She received her MSc and PhD in cell biology from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine.

Carole Grumbach, MBA
VP, Finance & Contracts
Carole Grumbach promotes Hadassah R&D services to domestic and international markets. She first joined Hadasit in 1990 as its finance manager. Today, she is responsible for the global financial management of Hadasit, specializing in contractual and budgetary aspects of negotiations with commercial partners. Carole received her MBA in economics and management from the University Paris IX-Dauphine.

Ariel Rabin, BSc, MBA
VP BD, Medical Devices & Digital Health
Ariel Rabin is responsible for evaluating projects, assisting R&D efforts, seeking funding opportunities, and out-licensing Hadasit’s portfolio of medical devices and digital health. Before joining Hadasit in 2014, he held positions in local and international business development and marketing/sales for medical device and software companies including CarboFix Orthopedics, Flexicath, and JNJ Israel. Ariel received both his BSc in life and medical sciences and his MBA from Tel Aviv University.

Sarit Batsir, PhD.
VP BD, Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics
Dr. Sarit Batsir is responsible for evaluating projects, seeking funding opportunities, promoting R&D services, and out-licensing Hadasit’s portfolio of pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotech and molecular diagnostics. Before joining Hadasit in 2021, she was the Medical Affairs Manager (women’s cancers) at Medison Pharma and a Medical Scientific Liaison (immune-oncology) at Bristol Myers Squibb. Sarit received her PhD in molecular biology from the Weizmann Institute.

Dr. Adriana Folberg-Blum
Director, Intellectual Property
Dr. Adriana Folberg-Blum has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the practice of intellectual property, including developing, maintaining and managing IP portfolios, primarily in the biotech industry, both as in-house counsel and in private practice. Before joining Hadasit, she served as the IP Manager at the Tel Hashomer Hospital Technology Transfer Company. Adriana received her PhD from McGill University in Canada and completed her post-doctoral work at the Weizmann Institute.

Masha Zavin, MA
Marketing Manager for R&D Services
Masha Zavin has more than a decade of experience in project management, business development, and marketing and sales in diverse industries. Before joining Hadasit in 2021, she was the Sales and Marketing Manager at iMER Ltd., the international marketing arm of Hadassah Medical Center. Masha received her MA in private international law from the State University Higher School of Economics, Moscow and graduated from the Hebrew University MBA Biomed program.

Aviv Reisfeld, LLB, MBA
General Counsel
Adv. Aviv Reisfeld drafts and negotiates the terms and conditions of various types of agreements and offers counsel on all aspects of life science commercialization activities and intellectual property issues. He joined Hadasit more than a decade ago. Aviv is a member of the Israel Bar Association and received his MBA from Bar-Ilan University and an LLB from Warwick University.

Sarah Kimhi, BA
Executive Officer
Sarah Kimhi joined Hadasit more than two decades ago. Prior to that, she was the secretary to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Sarah received her BA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
