Tamir Levital brings close to 20 years of healthcare and cleantech management and business development experience, including over a decade as a CEO of a medical device start-up. His experience spans across healthcare and cleantech business development, fundraising (including angel investments, strategic partnerships, sponsored research and government grants), academic technology licensing, developing commercial strategies, managing R&D, clinical trials, medical regulation, legal aspects and patents. Tamir holds an M.Sc. in Animal Science from McGill University, Montreal, Canada; and a B.Sc. in Biology from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem.

Tamar Raz, PhD

Dr. Tamar Raz has nearly two decades of experience in technology transfer and an impressive track record of bringing medical innovations from the lab to the marketplace. Prior to joining Hadasit, she served as VP of Marketing and Strategy at Ramot, the technology transfer company of Tel Aviv University. Tamar was the founder and CEO of Allergene Ltd, an Israeli drug development start-up company. She received her MSc and PhD in cell biology from the Tel Aviv University School of Medicine.

Carole Grumbach, MBA
VP, Finance & Contracts
Carole Grumbach promotes Hadassah R&D services to domestic and international markets. She first joined Hadasit in 1990 as its finance manager. Today, she is responsible for the global financial management of Hadasit, specializing in contractual and budgetary aspects of negotiations with commercial partners. Carole received her MBA in economics and management from the University Paris IX-Dauphine.

Nadav Askari, PhD.
VP BD, Pharmaceuticals & Diagnostics
Dr. Nadav Askari leads Hadasit’s pharmaceuticals, life sciences, biotech and molecular diagnostics portfolio. For over a decade, Nadav held various leadership positions in the life science industry. Prior to joining Hadasit, he served as the CTO of Genetika+ Ltd., a precision medicine biotech startup. From 2012-2021 he headed the proteins and kits R&D in Merck KGaA, where he directed the development and launching of dozens of products, including recombinant proteins, kits for research and testing, and molecular standards. Nadav also served as an advisor to tech transfer and innovation teams at the Weizmann Institute, supporting early-stage basic research projects towards generating intellectual property with practical applications. Dr. Askari obtained his M.Sc. (cum laude) and Ph.D. in biochemistry and cell biology from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and performed a postdoctoral training in Sanford-Burnham-Prebys Medical Discovery Institute (La Jolla, CA, USA).

Dr. Adriana Folberg-Blum

Dr. Adriana Folberg-Blum has over 20 years of hands-on experience in the practice of intellectual property, including developing, maintaining and managing IP portfolios, primarily in the biotech industry, both as in-house counsel and in private practice. Before joining Hadasit, she served as the IP Manager at the Tel Hashomer Hospital Technology Transfer Company. Adriana received her PhD from McGill University in Canada and completed her post-doctoral work at the Weizmann Institute.

Marketing Manager
Masha Zavin has more than a decade of experience in project management, business development, marketing and sales in diverse industries. Before joining Hadasit in 2021, she was the Sales and Marketing Manager at iMER Ltd., the international marketing arm of Hadassah Medical Center. Masha received her LL.B in private international law from the State University Higher School of Economics, Moscow and graduated from the Hebrew University MBA Biomed program.

Aviv Reisfeld, LLB, MBA
General Counsel
Adv. Aviv Reisfeld drafts and negotiates the terms and conditions of various types of agreements and offers counsel on all aspects of life science commercialization activities and intellectual property issues. He joined Hadasit more than a decade ago. Aviv is a member of the Israel Bar Association and received his MBA from Bar-Ilan University and an LLB from Warwick University.

Sarah Kimhi joined Hadasit more than two decades ago. Prior to that, she was the secretary to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Sarah received her BA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
